The term Future Garden created by "the Harrison", the Californian artist couple Newton Harrison and Harrison Helen Meyer was born in 1996 with her ​​exhibition of endangered grasslands on the roof of the German Art and Exhibition Hall in Bonn. They came in 1998 at the invitation of the community to Bad Zwesten to launch a project that was to highlight the naturalness of the region in the southern part of the basement forest. It was composed together with German artists and biologists, a concept that resulted in an extensive catalog, which we include to present (The Catalog).

This project of environmental art, the Harrisons have divided into three topics: "The Leaf", "The Meander" and "The Ring".
